Well, as it always goes, you start with one thing
and as you encounter problems, you innovate the software. But sometimes the old
version has some benefits, that the new one hasn't.
In this case, the old version is a lot smaller. This might be important for real
MS/DOS systems. Therefore I keep the old files at this place, together with the
description.
So we have the German files. The difference to today is the "TRS-DE.COM". The other files in that archive haven't changed. The "TRS-DE.COM" doesn't support the "/M" parameter. To create different keyboard mappings, you have to use the International Keyboard support.

If you want to translate some keys you have to change the table at offset 1D0. The first 16 bytes are the old codes. The next 16 bytes are the new codes. To help you doing this I added some files to TRS-KBD.COM

In each .pat file the first byte list contains the scan codes to be translated. The second byte list contains the scan codes to replace the translated ones. Please regard the first byte translates the numpad division key.
